Countersink is used for chamfering mechanical workpieces and metal plates. The thickness of the chamfer can be adjusted, making it more convenient to chamfer compared to traditional hand sanders. The angle is accurate, and the operation is simple, which can improve work efficiency and reduce costs. Suitable for chamfering molds and mold bases, machine tool bed processing, steel processing, metal sheet chamfering, machine equipment chamfering, etc., widely used in industries such as steel, steel structures, molds, metal processing, hardware parts manufacturing, etc.

Some main types of countersinks:

a) Single Flute Countersinks with Quick Change Hex Shank:

1.Made from industrial grade High-Speed Steel for increased durability. Black oxide finish adds corrosion resistance.

2.Five-flute design reduces vibration for smoother drilling and extended bit life.

3.Precision-ground 82-degree tip drills countersink holes into most machinable metals, as well as wood and plastic.

6.The material of the countersunk bit is different. The center of the countersunk bit is inlaid with a piece of hard alloy, while the whole body of the countersunk bit is made of high-speed steel.

7.The appearance is different. Countersunk drills are generally of equal diameter, and the diameter of the carbide outer edge of the countersunk drill head is slightly larger than the diameter of the drill body.

8.The tail part has various shapes, such as square, triangle, spiral due to the different connection form with the countersunk drill.

9.The cutting edge is different. The cutting edge of the countersunk drill is used for metal cutting. It has a certain angle and slope, and the cutting edge is sharp, while the electric hammer countersunk drill has no cutting edge and only chamfers on both sides.
